Crave was born to address the need for flexible, smaller batch, quality co-packing at reasonable cost.  The team was formed from two independent companies searching for the same solution.  We are foodies and small business owners and supporters at heart.  Now, in addition to creating our own products, our passion is helping to support brands in creating and making their products come to life and scale as needed.

One partner group, comprised of three brothers, grew up working in the food industry. But, after each pursuing the professional route, they realized that the desire to work together was greater than achieving their individual goals. So, they opened a restaurant together and made pickles for the menu. Customers were asking for pickles so often that they spun off the Pittsburgh Pickle Company. They started doing everything by hand in a church basement and learning the industry along the way.

The other partners, US Food Group dba Cleveland Pickle, also was born from the creation of a pickle in a local sandwich shop and the popularity and demand for these became the primary focus for making and distributing them full-time.

As each partner company grew and found success, it became apparent it was the right time to expand. Therefore, in 2022 we purchased a production facility and began production of our own products and expanded into supporting other great food companies in their needs for quality products and reasonable prices.

So, here we are today continuing to grow and hoping to team up with you to make that next special product together.
